How "I" learned Faith.....

I went out on a limb, had it break off behind me, and discovered I could fly…

 

There are so many idioms around…. How do I fit this one in my life?
I will start by doing something chancy and unsupported by others, which leaves me in a difficult position
I don’t really want to do this….. BUT I agree I am going to give this a try…

 

So, I decided to first how to say “no”. You say, how hard can that be? Well, pretty darn hard for me.  Repeat after me....

• Let me check and see if I can do that…
• Oh, I have something I cannot change, but let me know sooner next time
• That doesn’t really sound “fun” to me. (Annie taught me that!)
• How bout’ I do “this”…. and if you want something additional – “you” need to figure it out…      (but the “this” – I can surely do)
