Ok, I have been gone away from home almost 3 weeks and this weekend we are leaving for a wedding in Chicago! This has been the best vacation month for us!
First stop: Bayeux
Located in the heart of the old Bayeux, a medieval town by the D-day landing beaches, the Churchill Hotel is just two minutes walking distance from the famous Tapestry and Cathedral.
Centre Guillaume le Conquerant, Cathedrale Notre-Dame Bayeux, Musee de la Bataille Normande. Omaha Beach, Bocage, Chateau de Bracy, Chateau Fountain Henry, Chateau Balleroy, and that was only our first day! Very sobering and heartfelt tears.
